I very much enjoyed reading your blogs. I can sense some of your mother's sense of humour that you must have inherited, I guess (eg. the salmon loin discussion. I hope things are okay and you are not feeling too uncomfortable. You have a whole slew of people thinking of you and praying for you. I wish Katie would write; she wants to, but she says she is searching for the right words. Should just blunder on like her mother! She's been teaching English in Tokyo since February, and is there for 14 months. She likes it.
I will close for now, but will write again.

Carolyn, your sense of humour (correct spelling!) is still intact! It's super-awesome to be able to read these words.

I've written a short story with you in the role of Supreme Being (which I think sums you up quite well - it has more kudos than God) which I'll e-mail you as soon as my computer starts working again.

Miss you.

Hi, Carolyn ! I responded to your first blog, but I see that it didn't get posted correctly. Sorry about that :-( I have the honour of being a friend of your mother's and even though we no longer work at the Board office together, Toni and I have stayed in touch. Along with anyone else who reads your blog, I can tell that the humourous apple hasn't fallen far from the tree ! I work out in a school now, and your story touched a great many of us in the education field. I guess I just want you to know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many, even though you don't realize it. I hope, in some small way, you can gather strength for the road ahead knowing that people you've never even met have sought ways to help. I look forward to dropping in from time to time and reading about your progress. Keep up the great work !!
